A return to U12. The WW1 submarine dived for the first time in January 08. This time the visibilty was easily 20m with ambient light at 47m :). Not bad for the North Sea!. The B&W photo of uboat and crew used in the video is actually U9 not U12. She was the same class. U9 was famous for sinking 3 British Cruisers in one day.

  • Outstanding!

  • dived this a few times, its a long trek out to the wreck but well worth it, in my opinion the eyemouth area has some of the best wreck diving in the uk . the vis that far offshore is normally very good, however this is exceptional, it can also be a very dark dive at times

  • nice vidd hope the crew rests in peace

  • Going to dive this wreck this weekend, cannot wait now!

  • excellent

  • You had awesome visibility that dive. This video really gives and overall sense of the wreck. Its in amazing shape for being down their nearly a century

Looking in the aft tubes and to quote Bugs Bunny "Looks like a torpeada".

  • Thanks for the video

  • I am surprised it looks this good....being under water for like 90 years......I thought it would be more over grown and coverd in crap

  • actually you are wrong. not u9 sank three ships(cressy , Aboukir and hogue) . the right Uboat sank these 3 ships is U29 under commando of otto weddigen

    greetings schumava

  • Truly amazing video. Really well done! Nice edit and soundtrack. The vis is amazing.
