In which I continue from my last vid pitching 7 Batman films.

Altho one thing I forgot to mention I'd bring Robin in in No Man's Land with Batman finding him without parents and having him help him through the whole thing then at the end when the city is restored he fully becomes Robin.

  • You obviously have no clue about how screen writing works...

  • @Yanirakarola Way to back up and explain your statements.

  • @blowshimselfupdude Uh...I was about to say the same thing to you...

  • @Yanirakarola WOW....just wow.

  • I want Talia, Clayface, and Bane.

  • well, I rather like your sketch. But I'd prefer to just put it in a sort of TrueBlood/UK-style series format (10-14 episodes per season)

Pilot: intro Batman, Ra's al Ghul as a hidden mastermind?

season 1: Batman Year One, but with TLW-style flashbacks every other episode. Mainly on Batman's backstory, but if there's room I'll indulge in the other characters' origins as well. League of Shadows & various Mafia/Yakuza-style gangs as the main antagonist.

  • IMO, Catwoman should be around almost from the beginning. She appeared in Batman #1 and in the modern continuity is featured as a major player during Batman's earlier years (even appearing in Year One as a prostitute during Bruce's first mission sans cowl) like with The Long Holloween and Dark Victory.

In fact a Catwoman subplot extending throughout several films would be really interesting, especially watching the way her and Batman's arc developes throughout the course of those films.

  • I don't like the idea of Batman going around the world and training after he's already Batman and has made his appearance in Gotham. I think it works better that that stuff occurs before he comes back to Gotham after being gone for nearly a decade.

In fact, Frank Miller's Year One is exactly what a green Batman in the first film of a 7 film series should be like. Begins used elements of it, but they stopped just short of going all the way with it.

  • @SupremeCommander85 What are you talking about? Hollywood loves sequels and as long as the films did well, they'd definitely be up to do a 7 film series. The reason why most film series' never get that far is because at some point the films stop making money. Money rules Hollywood, and if something is making a lot of it, they have no problem milking the shit out of it for everythign its worth.

  • Pretty good idea, but in the six film i would have knightfall fall of batman with Bane and all that and Az then seventh bring him back

  • @blowshimselfupdude Yanirakarola way to be a hater dude

  • I think this could work better if you condense this into at the most, 4 or 5 films. The way Hollywood is right now, they're not going to put an effort into doing a 4 to 7-film series unless the source material calls for it (i.e. Harry Potter and the piece of shit called Twilight)

  • I think Batman inc. would be a good serise .

  • Im thinking batman meets back to the future meets pretty woman. Whats your feel on that? Im having a meeting with Mr Dave on saturday.

  • You know what-- I think you're onto something. I think it'd be good to have a full-on series of films continuing on one story rather than a loosely connected triology that we always seem to have now, good job, man :)

  • good idea
