Yes but on the Israeli side it's a small minority.. Only in orthox schools.. The people you meet on the street these days just wish to live a normal life.. You know children family etc.. Islam does not teach us to hate Jews, or anyone else for that matter, on the contrary Islam teaches us that Jews and Christians are "ahil al kitab" which means that they have their own book and their own religion and we are taugt that they are our brothers. Islam merely teaches us to defend ourselves and our countries. :)

If this is not the case, why does Israel still build settlements on land conquered from Jordan when Jordan is a close ally and has a peace treaty with Israel?

Furthermore, the Hashemite Royal family of Jordan receives annual payments from the U.S. to stifle critics of Israel. When people protested the Gaza war outside the Israeli embassy, Jordanian police was bashing in people's heads. Jordan's government has long been in collusion with Israel (See Israeli government records during the 48 war). Also, Peacecat, I'd like to see you criticize your own government for its endless massacres as much as you criticize Jordan.
