Chaminade is the pilgrim of faith.
Disguised he walks in the streets
bringing Christ everyday into ever-present dangers.
Some search for him, seeking pardon from God
others search for him, to take him prisoner.
Maintaining steps both firm and clever,
he hears shouts from behind: traitors have recognized him.
Now he runs through the narrows streets
he doesn't give in, for he has two important goals.
The one is to be faithful to the MISSION of the Son.
The other to give WITNESS.
He has spent his whole life in this pursuit.
Without fear, he faces the challenge.
The challenge comes from those who hate the faith
and try, with their lies, to make you forget God
and the cause of the Missionaries of Mary,
who daily give birth to Christ in this world,
by surrendering their lives.
Apocalypse 12: the virgin is with child.
The dragon waits to snatch the Son.
But they have conquered him by the Son's own blood
and by the Word of their testimony.

the authorities catch and expel him.
Saragossa is his next destination.
Time for reflection and meditation in his exile.
The Pilar is a refuge of prayer and true calm.
The Virgin inspires and he is forever in her debt.
At her feet he received the Inspiration.
It was a new vision of a new mission
under Mary's command;
to deliver Christ into the world;
to crush all lies
with deep faith in the mystery of the Incarnation.
God became flesh for all;
God become gift for us.

He returned to France in 1800
Faith, hope and love were his foundations,
making communities of men and women,
Sending them to the poor and young was their mission.
Prayer, sacrament, celebration and formation.
make them bold with a strong faith of the heart.
In alliance with Mary, in the Son's mission,
with God to reconcile the world, bringing the witness of peace.
Among them some feel the desire
to commit their whole life to the mission,
and so were born the Daughters of Mary Immaculate
and the Society of Mary.
By the Spirit, the members were inspired,
to give life with their lives in consecration.
In poverty, love and obedience
they testify with their lives to the faithful presence of Jesus.
Sons of Chaminade, Marianist Family,
communities not centered on themselves.
Incarnating by faith the gift of the Word;
bringing Christ into the world as sign of hope.
Youth, families and religious
under Mary's protection, proclaiming without rest.
We are all missionaries, pilgrims of faith
thus our motto that you all know is "strong in faith."
