i'm confused. the lyrics i find to the song of the same title don't match up at all, so what the hell is the song that i'm finding on lyric sites? example: lyrics that i'm finding start: I just needed someone, somebody to hold When the bottle was empty And the nights grew cold In my hour of darkness In my time of need You were my angel of mercy And helped me to believe You touched my soul obviously not the same as this, so what song is that?

Oh how I love this woman. I was born in 66. She knew fore hand what I know today. We have so much in common. Etta is one of the realest sisters you will ever know of.
Etta didnt play the radio then...and still dont. Bullshit was never her forte. I will forever respect her and her music for the rest of my days. as a musican and as a woman.
