Combo Personnel: Nick Froehlich - alto sax, Juan Macias - tenor sax, Efrain Hinojosa - flute, Ashley Briar - vibes, Hector Salgado - bass, Logan Coats - guitar, Bryce Brown - drums

I mixed the audio myself from the original multitrack recording and synchronized it with the video of the performance. As for micing, there were two Earthworks in an X-Y pattern in the center of the hall, about four feet or so from the edge of the stage. Two AKG-414s were set up 20 feet or so on either side of the Earthworks. The flute and saxophones were miced using SM-58s. Unfortunately, the SM-57 that was used to mic the vibraphone was only sent through the house, not into the Pro Tools session. Also the placement of the bass amp, left a lot to be desired in order to be properly picked up by mics. However, there were two SM-81 microphones used to track the piano. I bussed the two piano tracks to a stereo aux track, in which I was able to use the Waves multi-band compressor to bring out a little bit of the bass.
