T-Mobile Wing - XDA-Developers - Ivan's newest FAST ROM WM 6.1 - skipping TouchFLO

Developers at XDA-Developers forum have been making Windows Mobile products way more finger-friendly and navigable. These are a few screens from a new release set for approx April 8, 2009 . "Chef" Ivan is not a fan of TouchFlo because (a) it slows down operation, and (b) TouchFLO is not designed for landscape mode. His focus is on speed, and minimal size, allowing for maximum storage, and lots of RAM to run multiple apps at same time. So he's chose to stick with one of the earlier HTC interface elements called "HTC Home", due to its efficiency in communicating all current status items on a home page with room for appointments, tasks, etc.

i did a search at XDA... i see there are some common problems.

please have a look here -- i cannot do what you ask because ROMS are very specific to phone models.

i don't know which it is or where it is!... if i knew, i would gladly tell you. i don;t know... I only know the T-Mobile Wing, and ROMS for it. They are ALL VERY DIFFERENT. i gave you my best answer before as i was trying to help you out.

but he stopped developement on both the JustStable Series and JUstHome So he could create the SuperKitchen Which im eagerly awaiting for.

He's gone WAY past this version shown here from April 7 09. He finished the JustStable ROM (this one), and moved onto JustHome, which is his WinMo 6.5 ROM --- way more reliable and stable than Microsoft versions.

I can no longer guess. He's an all-or-nothing guy. When he decides to do a new ROM, he hacks away at it til everything runs with no snags, delays, bugs.. & he's always fine-tuning the core elements, such as which menubar to use, which icons to use... He's been theming the dialer & that's been the real delay.

Some people are still reporting sporadic instances of MMS snags so he's going to try a different build of Arcsoft Composer. Maybe a week? I'm going to use 14.14 for now to run new ifonz 2!
