Plastic surgery and the rush for perfection have jaded a generation. James and Sarah saught that perfection and lost the roll of the dice. Both emerge from surgery changed people, scarred by reality. James cannot accept what has happened and rejects Sarah, the cold reminder of his conformity. However, he soon sees in her a reflection of himself, beauty hidden beneath a social barrier.
