Village Voices: Joe Schmidt

oe Schmidt is one of the Mission Valley Village residents who has suffered through the ordeal of Archstone Smith's aquisition of the park. Joe tells his story of surviving Battle of The Bulge in World War II--one of the most horrific events in warfare history. He describes how scary it was when only he and 4 others survived shell blasts from the Nazi Army. And then describes how his feet got frozen during the battle. But he also describes--also as scary--the how Archstone Smith has terrrorized this community of seniors.
