This excerpt from Michael Cremo's talk at the 2006 FortNite, presents a different "Creationism" than that espoused by fundamentalists. Fortean lectures in their entirety are available on DVD from INFO. More information on INFO at http://www.forteans.com
we've been lied to folks it's time we come to grips with this, the elitest of this world do not want us to know the true knowledge of this planet, but the truth is now coming out not because they want it to but because it has to come out now.

Religions are not "alternatives" or substitutes for the evolutionary model.

"never be able to prove it" - So you know the future?
All of scientific explanations we have for natural events were once thought to be the products of Gods or Supernatural beings - Rain, the Seasons, floods, earthquakes, rainbows, the sun and moon, disease, ... the list is long.
How many times has a Scientific explanation supplanted a Supernatural one? Too many times to count. How many times has a Supernatural explanation supplanted a Scientific one? Not once. Good luck with that

I know where you are going with this.
Anyways,
yes I think evolution is false. I believe life comes from life and not from chemicals. We do not have any conception of life coming from matter. No one has proved it and will never be able to prove it.
I know technically evolution is not about the origins of life but evolutionists do realize that they have to explain the how the genetic structures of the first entities came about from the primordial soup and all dey do is speculate

Do you think evolution is true or false?

I think you are a tool.
Evolution is scientifically proven? that shows what a tool you truly are. All Michael Cremo is trying to say is that there a lot of gaps in the current accepted theory of evolution and we need a different explanation.....

In my humble opinion, the theory of evolution is fine. The scientific consensus for the story of humankind leaves a lot to be desired.

Michael Cremo is a tool.
"not everybody's satisfied with that"
Who cares if they arent satisfied, its the truth. Tough luck. Get over it.
"A larger family of spiritual alternatives to Darwinism"
Darwinism is not a religion on equal footing with others. This is a rediculous assumption. It is scientific proven and does not require belief or faith. It is well above and in a league of its own.

Sigh. I dont care if you dont believe in the Supernatural. But you obviously dont understand the scientific method to say so many stupid things about Science. Science is not on an equal step with religious beliefs. It is above. Science takes into account the unknown the potential for change in the light of new evidence.
