@madsonicboating my best was 2 gold rings in 2 days hehe. one of those rings was indeed .925 silver, still need to get the stone checkedon but it looks like it might be antique. you shouldfind some rings in that park you are doing, just make sure you dig the lower signals as gold comes in about the same as 10c pieces and small bits of lead

@Kramer3278 thanks you, the 2 coins were a great score. yes people do swim at that beach but mainly they go optimist yachting and canoeing there. thats a bugger about your new detector, hope is ok! its a shame there isnt a detecting shop here where people can repair and check them for us!

@muckytrowel i think i have found about 4 edward vii coins now, afew victorian too, we get some nice variation in the older coins over here, didnt get our own pennies until 1940!

Love hearing that accent! So close to home.... I'm in aussieland... Refreshing to hear a NZ accent in a metal detecting video. I found one of your florins earlier this month - check out my videos (only 2 so far :)
