  • I've loved your written reviews for years, and just this week found these videos. I have to say you are probably THE best tech video reviewer i have seen to date.

The studio and review style and tone is kind of minimalistic, but in a clean and estheticly pleasing way, just the way i like.

And you are also seriously talented at talking casually about the review subject while getting across a lot of information.

I've been looking around for good high-res displays, but can't find any below $1000 :(

  • does it have a cd drive?

  • @beeftothetaco123

Unfortunately both ends have to support Thunderbolt, not just Displayport.

  • I love your video reviews, you should show the product in use more though.

  • Very informative, thank you Anand

  • i wish apple would bring back 30inch display

  • @beeftothetaco123 you can connect it to a display, you cant connect it to your macbook :)

  • A very good example for clever use of this technology is Sonys Z-Series Vaio Laptops. They have poor graphics aswell, but sony integrated a optical interface in the USB 3 port of the Laptop wich is based on intels light peak/thunderbolt technology. They offer an external box with a discrete GPU and a BlueRay drive. So by hooking that box up via the USB 3/Thunderbolt port of the Vaio Z Laptop you can turn a 13" sub-notebook into a gaming enebled machine and even get extra ports and a disk drive.

  • Fantastic review, Anand. As usual! Detailed but no fluff. Very interesting to listen to!
