Good job it's dry or you would need a "Retro" International 674 with a chain to move it off the grass...............LOL

The L11 in that National is one of the most heavenly sounds in the world to a Gear-head 1:00 & 3:40:-) the L11 & TL11 engines were primarily the Tiger engine but also fitted to the later mk2 Nationals:-) The Bristol VR, best double decker ever built, put one along side any other double decker to see how better looking the VR is & its the same with the National:-) Anyone who disagrees is frankly blind or looking at a something else!

The sumps are the same on 0.680s,L11s and TL11S. The only difference is that there is some extra bracing iside the engine blocks of L11/TL11s

FDV829V sounds like a 0.680 to me. The way to tell is if u look underneath, a 0.680 or 0.690 will have a rounded oil sump and a L11 a square one

It has a Leyland L11 in it.

Wahey!
Digging the SYPTE National!
The Bristol VR at 3:00 sounds as if it has a Leyland 510 engine. I can tell from that unmistakable clatter.

I love the Leyland Nationals (especially the MK1) & the Bristol VR's, 2 great examples of them here, definitely two of the greatest machines ever built, they remind me of being a kid again back when life was simple:-( Both sound fantastic, The MK2 National in the video (FWA475V) sounds like it has a Daf engine or possibly Volvo, can anyone confirm, just out of curiosity???

Yes I went on FDV829V today and the driver was saying that it had a Leyland L11 non turbo charged engine in that too. Saw you lot driving off the field.
