@fullrearview What I think people fail to realize is that this kit will work just fine on, say, a 96-98 GT. Even better than on the new edge GTs, due to the compression hike. To a bargain car hunter, a 30~k non-pi GT, AND this kit, and one has a ~400hp car for about 10K...

That'll be about 375 horsepower with accessories. That's not too bad, considering the kit is about 3k. Those heads can also be worked even more, to extract more power in the future if desired. Throw lt headers and an aggressive exhaust, and 400hp is certainly within range.

Plus 406 hp without any accesories and an electric water pump is actually about 360 at the motor after adding accessrories and a mechanical water pump. So about 306 at the wheel. Thats the whole story. Plus Im pretty it sure had TFS cams in it too.
People have been doing better than that with stock ported heads for almost a decade. I'm not TFS basher. I have their intake with the oval upper instead of round that excepts any throttlebody the Cobra does and I love it. Mine is modded at 665 whp.

I watched this episode on tv and was dissipointed to see how they misslead viewers in thinking that the 2v engine they're putting the heads and intake on is the is the 3v that they put in the 05 mustang that they show in the begining and the end. Wierd.
