This information is not correct,In QURAN ALLAH has stressed Muslims to free slaves as many as possible and treat them with kindly and choose for them the same stuff that you choose for yourself.This is Islam the true and greatest religion in the world.you can just vilify Islam without having the proper knowledge of it but in the end you will know for sure that Islam is the only religion which leads to the one and only LORD in this entire universe.I TESTIFY ALLAH IS THE MASTER OF THIS UNIVERSE..

slavery pretty much occured everywhere, native tribes in north and south america use to enslave each other, the morrocans and barbary african pirates enslaved and took enslaved europeans from vikings, asiatic and eastern european tribes enslaved slavs which is where the word slave originates, arabs enslaved africa and the middle east until as late as the 1960's, the europeans started the 16th century slavery when african kings offered them in return for gold and guns.

Thanks for your clear and informative words. I have been studying Islam for several months. The role of Islam in Slavery is just another reason why Islam in no way comes from Christ. Winston Churchill said only when Islam ceased to be would the world be free. C.S. Lewis said he knew Islam only as a religion of "outrage". May Truth and Love prevail in our world. Perhaps slavery to Islam and Sharia Law will be the necessary medicine to purify once Catholic Europe! Islam is fundamentally flawed!

Believe there was a group of beings that gave us a chance, and remember our earth was once believed flat, then the center of the universe, etc ... eventually all will see our "earth religion" was not flat nor the center of all belief ... Allah is merely the arabic word for god, and obviously, god is the arabic word for allah ... islam comes out of christianity just as christianity came out of judaism ... one in the same, period, to deny such truth is ignorance and to say one is more evil than the other is ridiculous ... in both holy books he talks of not associating with those who do not believe and tells of not associating w/ "non believers" .. in both books he is vengeful to nonbelievers but at least in islam he acts alone.
