  • Great tune. But you are erroneous (along with EVERY reference online to Earl and Ernie's discography!) as to this album being their debut These guys had two LPs on Metromedia ('70 and '72) WAYYY before the first Asylum LP.

  • @seetheriverman --- Thanks for the additional info and correction.

  • Finally!!! So glad you put this on You Tube

  • Hey, man, great track - this was big in Scotland in the 70s. I had 2 of their albums (probably still do). I played in a band back then and we used to perform 'Always Waiting' from this LP. Super - nobody makes 'em like this anymore. Pity.

  • I HAVE THAT VERY ALBUM WITH THE FISH HOOK AND THE WATER ON IT WILL NEVER SELL IT GREAT SONG PLAYED IN ALL THE CLUBS BACK IN THE DAY

  • @ejohnsonious01 Right on man,the captains of industry see the working man as a necessary evil and you have to protect yourself and your kids futures so you need a union and a union that has power in Washington..

  • remember this song played in the clubs love it will never get tired of this song thanx for posting it has a great beat

  • @j0croxall

agreed that its great, but they're actually from Northwest Arkansas, not Detroit.

  • @donnieol

Its not the unions that took the jobs away bud. If you wanna just trust the bosses to graciously decide to treat workers well, go ahead. Certainly there are corrupt unions, just like there are corrupt companies, but the principle of organized labor is fundamental to fair treatment in the workplace.

  • Great Detroit blues/rock. I always wondered why the Cate bros. didn't

    put out more.

  • @pa42501

This is one of my favorite songs, But a reminder of all the jobs we don't have-- thanks to MR UNION MAN
