This devamp was done by xXchainchomp01 with the DPPt soundfonts, I give credit to him by the awesome work. This version of the song is very toned down compared to the HG/SS version, you'll see it. Once again, the picture is fan-made, there is no Yellow battle in HG/SS.

I don't understand why people make these, as the games use the exact same instruments as one another >_> this song, if actually ported in to Platinum, would sound exactly the same. The soundfont extracted from VGMTrans, is only the collection of instruments used for a particular song, which is why they usually sound incorrect. There are several soundsets used in each game for this reason. I could understand it if the games used different sounds, but they all use the same D:

@kanpaifighto Let me explain. Say you have the trumpet .sf2 from both HG/SS and Platinum. Listen to them, and compare. They don't sound the same, do they? And the strings, the flute, the timpani, and many of them. Most of the instruments have slight differences. Some of them sound the same, yes, but not ALL. The ones that sound the same are the Synth, Slap and Wah basses, the sawtooth and the polysynth/retro bell. That is it, I think. You coud ask someone else, like the owner of this remix.

I hope, if they make a remake for Pokemon Yellow, the female character will be Yellow rather than Green(/Blue in Japan). I mean, it makes more sense playing Green for the female character, seeing as she's also a trainer born in Pallet Town, but still, a change would be welcome. It would also be a nice touch if you chose the female character (Yellow) and you started out in Viridian instead, thus making the way the game starts, or even plays, based on the Gender, encouraging multiple playthroughs.
