Just heard Pt, jasraj& ameeta Pandit, bilaskhani todi I heartily ..wish ..manjusha ,you,too..could..!!! but ideally not like gurav or samajpati ..though "GOOD" ..nor like kumargandharva..!! MANJUSHA'S very'own' style !! I am 'eagerly waiting...!!! I am sure you can DO IT !!! That is 'your-kind-of-raag'!! Your kind of rang !! ..and also..range!! ALMOST ..your..devotee!!!

Where as choice of a particular Raag is important , aspects of the Gayeki , are also very important , I mean, gayeki developed beyond a particular limit ,then becomes , a Gharana!! having its own peculiarities and particularities and styles in rendition and also attracts its own audience and patrons!! As an artist, Manjusha Patil is quite quite, alive to this ,and the deliberation and thought and care ,is easily apparant and adds to the joyful rendition !!Thanks !! manjusha's electric effect

Wonderful Tarana (Trivat) in Sohoni.
I live in Austin and it's unfortunate that we didn't get to know about this performance. Was it a private baithak? Is there any way one can learn about such concerts/baithak in the future?
