@Gehenna71 Actually, that is not true. The right to silence is protected under section 7 and section 11(c) of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. This includes the right to choose not to identify yourself if questioned by a police officer.

Even the Ontario’s Public Works Protection Act only provides the requirement to present ID if the person wishes to enter the security zone.
