The American University of Rome, through the International Relations Department, takes an intense two-week study trip to Ghana in collaboration with the Kokrobitey Institute every year. Students have the unique opportunity to take part in the countrys political, economic, social and cultural life. They will visit the political and media institutions of the country; examine development projects, visit refugee centers, visit Anomabu, Elmina, and Cape Coast Castles, take part in the archaeological survey, and partake in formal lectures and seminars.
