"Yah, I can do that. Oh my god, really Mr. Barnes?" I smile and try to breath.
"Really. I know you have one song done, but can you have like 8 more done by the 20th of november?" I nod and he has me get to work.

Nick and I havent exactly been talking. He started hanging out with Selena on the weekends and after school I'm busy working on the songs. It's been almost 3 weeks. The performance is tomorrow. Nick still doesnt know that I'm playing the event and Jason knows but really?Whats he gonna say? We don't exactly agree on matters. I get a text:
Hey it's Joe. Why havent you and Nick been hanging out? He's been with that bitch Selena.
Me: Idunno. Nick's been with her and I've been busy.
Joe: Well we miss you. My mom's even complaing to him about bringing you over to dinner. If he doesn't I will.
Me: Sure you will.
Joe: I really will. Heather will you go to dinner with me tonight at my house? See, that's me asking.
Me: Okay, I will. 7?
Joe: Be there or be square.
Me: Haha, bye Joe see ya tonight.
Joe: Bye.
I smile up at the ceiling. Joe is alot sweeter than Nick. And he's not to terribley oldder than me. At 7 I ring the door bell while adjusting my black dress. Joe answers and takes me in.
"Wow you look fantastic!" He say's while leading me into the house. Kevin walks in and smiles.
"Welcome back Heather. Nick's actually getting ready for a date with Selena. Sorry for the info." I laugh.
"I'm actually here with Joe tonight." I say while giving hima signature nod Joe wraps his arm around my waist and we walk into the dining room. Denise smiles.
"Hey Heather, Joe said you would be coming." Joe pulls out my chair and I sit down. He sit's next to me.
Halfway through dinner the doorbell rings. Nick rushes down not noticing me at the dinner table.
"Hey Selena you look wonderful!" I can see her in his mind. She's wearing a short skimpy blue dress with a pearl necklace. Nick is thinking about inviting her in to meet his mom. "Would you like to meet my mom?"
-Jeez, I didn't know he wanted me to meet his parents. I would have worn something less revieling.- I smile.
"Yes, I would love too!" Selena says with fake excitement. Nick has Selena's hand when he walks in.
"Mom this is- Heather?" He sounds beyond shocked. I look up from the lasagna I was eating, I quickly swallow.
