@mrblueagian ya i wanna have the ability to reach out to 1000yds but my main shooting will be around 200-500yds. its just gonna be a safe queen mostly. i use my 270 and shotguns for deer hunting but wanted something i could reach out quite a ways and still be accurate so i my remington 700 308

@02lb72500HD Understandable I have a nightforce on my .308 and I lvoe it.. then again I shoot it alot from 300 to 1000 yards so its worth it for me to have the scope.. The Bushnell will work great for your set up and you wont be dissapointed!

@mrblueagian ahh i gotcha. thats the reason im going with the 6500 on my 308 cuz of the resetable turrets. my banner is on a mid range 22-250 (100-700yds) thats main use is hunting so maybe thats y i like it so much? idlove to go with a nightforce or something like that but im not spending that much on a scope that i will never get the full use out of

@02lb72500HD Nothings really wrong with them as a hunting scope.. as far as a Sniper or tactical scope theres alot wrong.. The Eliete 3200 10x40 tactical is super clear compaired to the banner has finger adjustable turrets which actually set back to zero... and its a fixed power so theres to variable powers to mess with, its mildot. better warranty too.. Not saying the banner is bad I have one on a hunting rifle but for precision its sometimes betetr to step it up IMHO.

@mrblueagian wats wrong with the banners? i have a 6-24x40 on my 22-250 and i love it. lots of light so the picture is nice and crisp and its pretty accurate from what ive shot it. altho im going with the 6500 elite AOD 4.5-30x50 on my remington 700 308

@eastofakron2 Yeah most muzzle brakes make the gun really loud for example I have a remington .300 ultra mag with a muzzle brake and an another without a muzzle brake. And the one with the muzzle brake is a lot louder then the other plus the muzzle brake helps reduce recoil which is really good :)

lots of options out there, depends on your buget. ive always liked nikon's & millet scopes as a low end option. on my sps tac i have a sightmark 8.5-25x50. its decent, & suits my needs for now. theres also leupold, bushnell's, schmit and behder, zeiss and SOOO many more. if u want top of the line scopes, i would personally go for a NightForce. i suggest A TON of research before u go buy anything, cause if u end up with a sub-par scope or 1 u dont like your gonna be dissapointed.-- 700rifle.com
