  • I'm Jamaican also, my boyfriend (a white American) sounds Irish when he tries to speak Patois.

  • nice legs

  • This is too cute and so beautiful .

  • Hey I love your videos, like you I am also Jamaican and my husband is also white and we are crazy like you two lol. I also just had a baby girl we are just very similar and would love to be your friend on facebook. I don't post videos on youtube but I have tons on facebook for friends and family to see. Message me for my info.

  • @ChloeCharleslovesyoo it's a dialect. usually jamaican, and african speak that..

  • Zut alors!

  • LOL, fun video. I understood everything you said. :p My parents and many of my relatives have accents, but never speak patois. My brothers and I used to speak patois at home to each other sometimes for kicks, and were good at it. Once my mother caught us, and got SO angry, LOL. She said people passing the windows would hear and get a bad idea of the family (she thinks of speaking patois as a low class way of speaking and presenting oneself). We still did it, but made sure she didn't catch us.

  • Hahahaha We do this with my nephews all the time, my 11 understands it and speaks it sometimes... the 2 year old mimics us.

I misssed you guys!!! I was on facebook and thought of you. I'm so happy to see you had a BEAUTIFUL healthy baby girl! Omgosh, I'm catching up on all your vids now, so precious!!! All the best! xoxo

  • @ChloeCharleslovesyoo kind of jamaia's language. still consists of english words, but it's the way they speak.

  • what exactly is Patois?(i really don't know)

  • i love this and soooo much I wanna speak Patois now lol i would sound crazy though lol

  • well even if him neva born in JA him still coulda learn nuff tings if unu did live in South Florida.

I grew up understanding almost everything in patois but you know...for some reason I'm starting to sound more trini than jamaican. ITS ALL MY TRINI FRIENDS lol

I'm scared because I'm not sure if I'll be able to pass on the culture in depth to my future kids, but I'll try

  • i have been watching your videos since i was in high school. mainly because you posted 1 with your husband speaking patois. lol this is awesome. my sisters dont want to learn patois im jealous. well the 5 yrs old know wata now since we went to ja and is facinated with rock stones lmao. ah suh mi wah mi pickney dem wah talk patois.

  • Just realised that there are different patois accents!!!! Yours sounds very different from mine. I was born in Kgn but moved to Manchester when I was nine so I now have a Manchester patois.....though I spoke completely alien to the people in Manchester when I first arrived there.

  • lol sam is precious. I would love to learn that way of language.

  • Wow. Sam is getting so big. Glad to see videos from you. You and your family are so precious!
