JOANA ANDTHE WOLF - 21/12/2008 London, THE DUBLIN CASTLE -

Joana And The Wolf are a London based four piece made up of Lithuanian singer songwriter Joana and three British musicians, Ali (guitar), Louis (drums) and Katie (bass).

Between regular London gigs, career highlights so far include performing at Brighton's Great Escape festival, supporting James Dean Bradfield at ULU, playing the Rock n Roll stage at Bestival, recording a live session for John Kennedy at Xfm...and Joana singing on Kasabian's track 'Empire' !

In 2007 Joana And The Wolf built up a faithful following whose votes helped take the band to the 2007 INDY Music Awards, where they won the award for Best New Wave Act.

They were Xfm Music:response competitors in Dec 07 and Aug 08, made the finals again for the 2008 INDY Music awards, and performed at the 2008 Camden Crawl.
