This video was capture in Seattle at the Phinney Neighborhood Center (brick school-lookin building) October 27th, 2007. This concert featured Paul Curreri and Devon Sproule, both solo performances by each and then a very special duet performance at the end.

My dirty karma must have caught up with me this night as my battery ran out on the last song of Paul's set (still had Devon's solo set and then the duets to follow but couldn't get them), but alas, I did capture most of Paul's amazing performance.

Paul once drunkenly confessed that "God Moves On The City" was about 9-11. He said he wrote it sitting on a tractor in Barboursville, a small town near Charlottesville, where he lives, sitting out there on in the morning sun. Listen to it again. It's heart-breaking. Especially the bit about souls going up while newborns are coming down. Best and most subtle 9-11 song out there, if you ask me.

"god move on the country" was the tune that originally got me into mr. curreri's music, but this one has been my favourite song of his ever since i first heard it.
