From Gettysburg battle scene to Fort Delaware! This is the intoduction. Original purpose was to get Mr. Turner, who produced "Gettysburg," a part 2 film. Most of the Confederates captured at Gettysburg were marched to Fort Delaware. "Hell on Earth" is the Yankee version of the Confederate prisons for Yankees. The film would be action packed becuase quite a few Confederate Prisoners escaped from Pea patch Island. Fort Delaware fired their huge cannons daily for practice.
