Piotr Paleczny plays chopin polonaise No.6 "Heroic"

ポーランドの最も有名なピアニストであり、著名な教授の一人である。ワルシャワの音楽アカデミーでヤン・エキエル教授のクラスを卒業。１９６８年にソフィア国際音楽コンク­ール、１９６９年にミュンヘン国際音楽コンクール、１９７０年にフレデリックショパン国際ピアノコンクール、１９７２年にPleven及びボルドー青少年独奏者音楽祭等５­つの国際ピアノコンクールの入賞者である。

　第８回フレデリックショパン国際ピアノコンクールの成功以来、すべての大陸においてコンサート活動を行っている。現在はワルシャワのショパン音楽アカデミーでピアノクラス­を教えている。

　シカゴ交響楽団、American Symphony、ロイヤルフィルハーモニー管弦楽団、ロイヤルコンセルトヘボウ管弦楽団、BBCロンドン、ライプツィヒ・ゲヴァントハウス管弦楽団、チューリッヒ・トン­ハレ管弦楽団、読売日本交響楽団、RAIローマ、サンタチェチューリア国立アカデミー管弦楽団、Mexico National、アルゼンチン国立交響楽団、スペイン国立管弦楽団、ワルシャワフィルハーモニー管弦楽団、ポーランド放送交響楽団等、数々の名高いオーケストラとソロピ­アニストとして共演している。ニューヨークのカーネギーホール、エーブリーフィッシャーホール、アリスタリーホール、シカゴのオーケストラホール、東京のサントリーホール­、ライプツィヒのゲヴァントハウス、ブエノスアイレスのTeatro Colon、アムステルダムのコンセルトヘボウ、ロンドンのロイヤルフェスティバルホール、チューリッヒのトーンハレホール等々、多数の有名なコンサートホールで演奏を行­ってきた。

　ボルドー、アムステルダム、パリ、ブエノスアイレス、東京、ルガノ、メキシコ、ワルシャワ各都市でマスタークラスを行っている。そして数々の国際ピアノコンクールで審査員­を務めている。ワルシャワのショパン国際ピアノコンクール、パリ、サンタンデル国際ピアノコンクール、東京、浜松国際ピアノコンクール、プラハ、Kitzingen、台湾­、クリーヴランド国際ピアノコンクール、ロンドン、ジュネーブ国際音楽コンクール、ロサンゼルス、モスクワのチャイコフスキー国際音楽コンクール等である。

　パレチニ氏は、Polskie Nagrania、EMI、BBCクラッシック、Naxos、ポニーキャニオン、CD Accord、オリンピア、Wifon、BeArton、サウンド、DUX等のレコード会社からＣＤを出している。

　ポーランド人作曲家による曲は彼のレパートリーの中でも重要な位置を占めている。その中で特に高く評価されているＣＤは、ショパンの協奏曲（ポニーキャニオン）、Igna­cy Jan Paderewski（サウンド）、Witold Lutoslawski（Naxos）、カロル・シマノフスキーの協奏曲－交響曲第４番（EMIとBBCクラッシック）である。

Sinfonia Varsoviaとイェジー・マクシミウクとのレコーディングによるショパンの２枚のＣＤ、全バラードとピアノ協奏曲（BeArTon）はゴールドディスクに輝いている。

　最近のレコーディングであるショパンベスト（DUX）はポーランドフォノグラフィックアカデミーから「フレデリック'９９」の賞を受け、２００２年１２月にはプラチナディ­スクになった。

　彼は最近リリースされたポーランド版に基づく新しいバージョンのショパンピアノ協奏曲をステージで演奏し、レコーディングもした最初で唯一のピアニストである。

　パレチニ氏はワルシャワフィルハーモー管弦楽団の１００（周年）記念を祝う特別なガラコンサートにソロピアニストとして招待された。

　１９９３年以来、ポーランドで最も古い音楽フェスティバルであるDuszniki Zdrojの国際ショパンフェスティバルで芸術監督を務めている。

To dopiero heroiczny polonez!!! Wspaniała interpretacja. Początek i oktawy w środku genialnie !!! Niektóre fragmenty utworu za bardzo skomplikowane ,trochę przesadzone, ale generalnie bardzo dobrze !!!! BRAWO !!!!

I didn't like this performance at all. I appreciate all achievements of this Polish professor, but he overplayed this polonaise, I think.

stunning! Mr.Paleczny is showing an outstanding new look and sound in interpretating Chopin - yes,it is eventually a little bit provocant - but it is fresh and youthfull - so lets hope,he will stay on this way. Walk the line Professor!

@rea082151 You are hearing here a "latter day" interpretation of this classic by one of the great professors/teachers of interpretation, an inheritor/exponent in a "latter day embodiment" of what the Polish School used to be all about. This is a deliberately "non-commercial" way of going about it, in the best sense of the term "non-commercial" because it defines for the listener the dimensionality of what can be done with the piece dynamically, esp. the rubato. A teacher's take because he is ..

A screwball interpretation filled with ridiculous and unmusical changes in tempo. Rubinstein would turn in his grave if he heard this abomination....it is exactly what

Rubinstein avoided in all his Chopin....the so called "old" Chopin, in which every crazy interpretive idea was considered a sign of heaven sent genius. (At least he plays the E major section correctly...probably because his left hand keeps time for him. )

In the intervening 30 years the Professor has changed a bit, and so has his conception of the piece, yet no one in the world plays it quite like this.

You want to compare this to the performance of this music by this artist from 1970. This is like looking at Gould's Goldbergs from 1955, and from 30 years later.

Superb performance, one of the most interesting and best I ever heard. The rhythm is perfect, and one can dance the Polonaise as its dance form and rhythm is respected by this wonderful pianist without unnecessary heroics.
