we should pray like the prophet (pbuh) did. where does it say he ever prayed with his hands closed? that was informed by one of the caliphs later on to show "respect" to prophet 9pbuh) but we pray to god. so you se my friend this is the proper way

@laughterisalluneed hey! theres fajr, zuhr and night prayer, so this is 4 rackats, so you need two rackats for fajr prayer, 4 plus another 4 for zuhr (afternoon prayer) and 3 plus 4 for the night prayer. For the prayer that includes only 3 rackats you take out the 3rd rackat i believe, the shortest one. You can also do 5 prayers! 2+ 4+4+3+4. I hope this helps!!
