Glad to see Frankie's legacy living on!

Lovely lads!

Incredible how just two musicians can make this music that has been around for so many years sound so fresh and vibrant; this is what I call raising the bar. And when Caoimhin kicks in with his Hardanger, the bar goes sky-high.....

the last tune, 'gees in the bog,' is also a well-known jig. the reel heard here is a derivative of the jig version, and when played as a reel it is also commonly known as 'lad o'beirne's favourite." interestingly, the jig is in C and the reel is in D.

I want this music to go on forever.
I hope science will advance enough to allow Caoimhín and Mick to have a four-armed baby together that can play pipes and fiddle at the same time.
What did I just say?
Oh it's the absinthe I tell you!
