My main purpose for posting this is to get feedback and constructive criticism. My fast playing is messy. I am aware of this. For this reason, I welcome any tips that will help me become less messy. I believe my problems are that my left leg is "weaker" than my right, and that I'm using the wrong muscles. I've heard, and correct me if I'm wrong, that the faster you go, ankle motion is what does most of the work. For me, I seem to be tensing up the muscle on the front of my leg right below my knee, which for allows me to basically twitch my foot/ankle, and I can very the tempo and such, but it does get tiring after about 3-5 mins of constant "twitching". I figure there shouldn't be any tension, but I'm not sure how I'm supposed to do it otherwise.
My second "in need" area is the heel-toe. The lack of consistency I feel is in part due to my pedals, because I can get more consistent hits when using a better set of pedals. Also, my left leg is weaker, which causes missed doubles and such.
@DudeThatDrums If you are tight on a budget, these pedals work. If you have the money, definitely get something better(best thing to do is go to a music store and try different ones to see what works best for you). If you have little double bass practice or experience, believe me, it will be difficult to start. Best thing to work on is using a metronome, and play with each foot equally. Do 4 hits with right, then 4 with left. Mix it up with 1,2,3,4,5, etc to build strength and control!

I need a quick reply to this man, Are these good double pedals? I need to know what you think about them. Either they're horrible or I suck at Double Bass, and do you have any Double Bass excerises that can help me develop control. Please help me
