The late Tim Russert, former journalist and host of Meet the Press, tells his personal story of struggle and growth as he overcame the struggles of a lower middle class upbringing, became the first person in his family to graduate from college and become an accomplished author and journalist. Russert makes the audience erupt in laughter as he shares his own success story, the role of his faith and the importance of love. He urges the audience to accept and embrace the silent goodness of those around us, to appreciate the preciousness of time and to take advantage of every moment spent with loved ones.

  • Trading a pencil for a fork after completion of homework. What an EXCELLENT idea!

As wonderful (and tearful) as Tim Russert was, I think ONLY WOMEN should take the stage during WC.

BTW this is on "WC TV"!

  • Simply amazing everything he says! I <3 TIM RUSSERT!!!
