Although pennilesscripple has a theory that he's triplets, I believe he's ubiquitous and inscrutable, kind of like Melville's White Whale. He can take all forms and he can turn up simultaneously all over the globe. What I've come to realize is that Renetto is all of us YouTubers, and we are all Renetto.
