"Sexting" could land kids in trouble with the law

Spokane area teenagers are using their cell phones and computers to send risqué photos of themselves, and sometimes those x-rated images are landing in the wrong hands. KXLY4's Jeff Humphrey reports.

I just dont get it. . why is sex so taboo in our society? It is one if not the one most crucial parts of life. Yes, in the times we live in today we don't want 14-18 year old moms and dads running around, but if you teach your kids safe sex, and stop sheltering your kids from the real world, Mistakes like this won't happen. And if your kid asks you somthing, fucking tell them, dont say "When your older" or another BS excuse.

First I lock my phone and encrypt everything on it. You could TRY and crack the 24 character password to the phone, and by some odd chance you did, you would have to get through a whole DIFFERENT 24 character password to look into my Micro-SD card.

Some things NEED to be confidential, if I want to send nude photos to my girlfriend then that's my business, I'm more than smart enough not to go mass forwarding all of the pictures I take of myself -__-

@Fre3ZinRain sex is fine, sex is normal, sending naked pictures of yourself to someone when your underage is stupid and indefensible, to many kids now days do this, take my word for it it was all over my high school, its a bad idea and can humiliate the person who is pictured, i know if i had a picture of me naked going around school i would be embarrassed (but i am a guy so i assume it would be much worse for a girl)

Though I think it's stupid in the first place, it shouldn't be a felony if it's to someone their own age. If they're sending it to adults or kids younger, then it should be a felony.
