one of the greatest rock and roll frontmen and songwriters showing how amazing and wide his talent spectrum was. I adore John Fogerty , and I think CCR was one of the greatest groups ever ,one of the great tragedies of Rock n'roll when they broke up as they were just magic

Hank's ORIGINAL version is wonderful .. but is inherently limited by the constrained music-recording technology of that time, as much as anything else. Personally - I think Fogerty EXCELS here .. BEST VERSION EVER. JF's magnificent vocalisation shows how much he LOVES this song .. & if EVER a song was made for him to sing .. this one's IT !!
