As a Christian, forgiveness is given, not earned. He has no need to please "the west." You should learn your own history, and religion. Radical Islam is true Islam. The Koran and Hadith tell me so. Walid has a lot to contribute to our understanding. Having been on both sides of the fence, he can cut through the propaganda advance to war that the Muslims are waging on the West. We really need to heed this stuff; it is essential to our survival. No matter our response, God will prevail against all satanic system, including Islam, but He wants to use us, to His glory, to do so.

@bluepraetorian friend search though the hadith and see that allah will melt all the gold and silver you withheld as zakat, and brand you with it in hell................so the 'charity' is forced out of fear...........also Walid says it is to further the cause of jihad and propigate islam throughout the whole world............

Wow the parallels he draws between islam and the events which take place in the last days are mind boggling!. I need to find out what the "meat" portion of the presentation consists of. This man is blessed by God. He is a very good communicator and is obviously divinely commissioned to speak truth to the Muslim lie that is islam. Praise God!

@ Rocket: you and I would see eye to eye about many things regarding the use of the hammer but please appreciate that the fault must be attributed to the one who wields it. Our greatest virtues are love and compassion and while we will not cower down we will also not forget who we are....peace :)

I will keep this short, as long as they wish War on us, WE will bring War to them every single day and night. If our Political Leaders cower from them, WE will not. talking about the religion itself and not the followers.....which is to say the matter under discussion is NOT what Muslims do but what Islam teaches...he is very right on other counts but with respect to Zakat...that's not what the religion says...

However let's not get emotional here and not look at things objectively. I repeat: how a follower of Islam uses the idea of Zakat is another matter but that's NOT what it's meant for...which is to say the notion of Zakat inherently has little to do with Jihad...and the reason Walid is wrong here is because he is

Well, if you read the reference that I sent you the author actually explains that Zakat WILL be use to the course of LITERAL Jihad. When are you going to start taking these people seriously? Do they have to be outside your home sharpening their knives for you to figure out that they are dangerous and they mean business?

@ Rocket...thank you for the reference, I will try to get my hands on it. The point I am trying to make is that the religious principle of Zakat is NOT for the advancement of Jihad....CAIR may or may not use it for that purpose but that's besides the point. Zakat as a religious principle is a charitable act...nothing more.
