That is, photons always went about their business but they became 'light' when an organism evolved an ability to utilize them and render them to the conscious.

Also let this be a lesson learned for everyone. We Are One. If anyone would like to see this information for themselves search further in the internet. @soulmate119nickmel The eye does not emit photons. Photons reflect off of objects and enter the eye.

However many years later, and he is absolutely right at the 2:00 minute mark. Your eye ACTUALLY emits photons out of it in order to apparently pick up that lights reflection of the object which in turns enables the sense of Sight to function.
