The first video ever made by The Dream Academy which are Nick Laird-Clowes, Gilbert Gabriel, and Kate St. John. This video was later updated when the song became an international top 5 hit in 1985 and this version is was rarely seen today.

Listen to Nick's latest song for free ("Mayday"). It was co-written in May 2009 with David Gilmour of Pink Floyd and was written for a Greenpeace documentary by Nick Broomfield about the Kingsnorth protesters. http://nicklairdclowes.com/

  • @moosesgalore You and I are in total agreement about Nick Drake, but I can't be mad at anything that might get him new fans and some recognition. It's all he wanted :)

  • @glaeken14 I've always liked this song - it takes me back to my teenage years - but finding out it was inspired by and dedicated to Nick Drake just makes it that much better.
