I use a cybershot dsc w7. by luck it seems to cancel the boom effect from, the bass the down side is the focus sometimes is lost on the video. It was a fantastic night.

Great to see the Numan out there still doing good music and performing. Loved his music, my 1st 7" single bought was with B-side Photograph, pleased he has been citied by the likes of Dave Grohl as an influence. He was, is and always will be..

Love this video! And song!!! I know for certain that the actual sound system in Newcastle Academy is not a good as it should be as I have been on tours with same bands and they dont sound quite right at Newcastle through no fault of their own. I complainbed after Gogol were there cos the vocals were rubbish and anyone listening for first time gets wrong impression of the band.

Impressive! This is some of the best video footage and sound clips from the tour!! Missed the Newcastle concert, but loved the Manchester, Bristol, and Nottingham gigs.

I agree, the whole focus had shifted from the synth to bass and guitar - mainly bass (a bit too much bass on the night!) it's not a bad thing as such, but a little bit of a let-down to those who were expecting something more like the original recordings. Then again music has to evolve someway, and it s got to be tough playing the same songs the exact same way for so long.

I like the older Gary, he seems more relaxed and less "posey" than the original days. I seen him many times from 1979 onwards, and knew Billy Currie from Ultravox who used to play keyboards for him live. I have to say i enjoyed this gig more!! I really like his latest stuff but have not been fortunate enough to see him play that live.

It was my 1st Numan gig and thought he was very good. I am 40 now and was realy a big fan in 78-82 period but was too young to go see him live. Sorry to upset die hards but although the show was very good it wasnt anywhere near as good as the original band line up, the synths didnt sound right and im a musician so i know, but some of the older guitar based tracks were brilliant. Well worth seeing.
