  • So...we ignore all the other numbers he was throwing out? And ignore that 1, 20, 19, 40 don't equal 911?

  • JESUS! I thought everyone knew by now that Uri Gellar has NO powers of any kind. He doesn't even have the skills of other magicians. The only thing that ever made him stand out was his claim that the tricks were real. Even though people were doing the exact same tricks before he ever came along, but not claiming to have real powers. Think about it. Why would evolution give us such a USELESS ability? He isn't Carrie. He can barely bend a spoon, and he can't even do THAT without touching it.

  • @TheIncognitusMe I know, but that is what tricks are all about, mind reading, talking to people who have passed and so on. That is what makes them fun. It's all for intertainment.

  • And, it would not be a trick, it would be a miracle if Criss Angel gives his million dollars to someone who guesses the contents of the envelope.

  • @Apeneck0 Cause he's not psychic? Geller is a hack. Geller is barely a magician. He is pretty much a crappy con-man. Yet, he beat Angel at his own game. As one aged hack teaching a lesson to a younger hack. Angel owes him the money. Just saying 911 wouldn't make good tv. I think it's funny that everyone think Geller was grasping at straws when he hit everything with ONE extraneous number! He's not Jesus! He's just a moron who managed to have one over on Angel.

  • Man, i've got so many angry responses to my explanation for this exhibition. Uri Geller did a cold read on Criss Angel. Angel eventually figure out what was happening and panicked. It was never a cold read and Geller had somehow seen inside the envelopes. NOT in a magic psychic way, but simply he bought people or paid someone to sheister Angel. He still earned it as far as Angel's bet went, and he still said every single number...the exact amount of times...with the exception of 1 repeat...

  • Uri was trying to get a cold reading, throwing our random numbers and bits of information to look for tells, but he failed because Criss saw it coming and interrupted him. What he actually says when others say he's making the prediction is, "And I wish you a lot of success over the years."

  • Did people forget when Criss said that he TOLD Uri his birthday and how they were related (:36)... Criss isn't about to dish out $1 million to a guy who just repeated what he said.

  • You would have thought if Geller actually knew definitively what was on the paper in the envelope... when Criss Angel was interrupting him and revealing the paper Geller would have shouted something -- he had plenty of time to say "911!" but instead he just sat there for 20 seconds and did nothing.

  • @czerro 1, 20, 19, 40, 1. Even if we want to say that these numbers are used in 9/11/2001, they aren't. There is no 19 in 9/11/2001. And he did not say 2001, he said 1, and 20. I love how you can accept that he can predict things in reverse, and relate "20" and "1" to 2001.

    How about he just says "9/11" instead of "40 20 19 1 1."

    Jesus christ, you are delusional.

  • Question. If Uri knew, why wouldn't he just say "911?" That would really have cleared up a lot of doubt.
