That's funny cause...I just threw that guy in there for Giller because I was having a hard time finding someone I liked. He is pretty much a filler.

I have to wonder if you have actually read the book. The Richard I felt was described in the books was a much larger ,though gentle man with a handsome yet rugged exterior. Not these little pampered , girly looking men. Richard become a hard, callous, and and very dangerous man who earned the fear and respect of the Mord Sith .Perhaps one of these other richards could tame the mord sith ,if they hit them with thier purses . . . . maybe .

Seeing as how I titled this 'Wizards First Rule' and not Legend of the Seeker the answer would be yes I have read WFR. And why are you referring to multiple men in the first place. I only showed one man that I thought would be all right for Richard. I am SO sorry that it didn't live up to your expectations. I will go repent.

FINALLY someone puts in people who match the descriptions for at least Richard and Kahlan. I was tired of a brown eyed Kahlan and a skinny wimpy Richard. Look at him on the Temple of the Winds book cover for goodness sake!

Absolutely Perfect Casting! My boyfriend and I are huge fans of this series and after watching a few really bad castings, we were thoroughly impressed by yours! Finally someone who got Richard right!! And Kahlan was wonderfully precise down to the green of her eyes! Thanks for your effort and the fact that you put cool background music rather than a song!

how about Viggio Mortensen for Richard? You really need a very good actor to go from gentle woods guide to killer extraordinaire.

@sway0 dude u r so wrong, in the second book kahlan thinks of Richard as like darken rahl's but with his mothers features making Him more rugged

Shota, Kahlan and Demmin Nass were good, the rest were not at all what I imagine from the books description

@weirdmallow I really would like to see Peter jackson take on The Sword of Truth, I think he be the best man for it considering his work on The Lord of the Rings.

Majorly disagree wit you there mate. Ive read this series so many times ive lost count.Yes Richard is a hard dude, but that doesint mean he looks "rugged"... And you forgot the fact that he is a RAHL. I could go into variors chapters where they say he has his farthers cruel perfect face but i wont, reread the series again dude.This cast choice was perfect and the TV series ruined it I got through 1/2 the episode b4 I turned it off... much prefer this cast. Picture Perfect!!!

UNIVERSAL MOVIE STUDIOS should record (?) a real movies about every book of Goodkind. Not Tv sitcom, because it's poor and stupid. It should be a huge, beautiful story-movie like The lord of the rings... !!
