I have been reading high on health for three and a half years and I have seen the blog change. I was much more interested in it when acne was the major topic. It also seemed to be more genuine before selling started. Best of luck to you Fran! I hope you make the right choice!

@cupcakes869 Thank you for your feedback. I found that talking about a "problem" so much was keeping a large amount of dark energy around me. I wanted to move into talking more about solutions and topics that held a more positive energy.

I think the problem people had was that you didn't just have a sale and be like "Ooh it's sale time!", you kind of made it sound like people who bought from you would be funding your holiday. Is there any way you can make money from advertising on highonhealth? I don't know how that kind of thing works, but isn't that how Facebook makes its money? Obviously it's a lot larger(!) but it maybe worth looking into :) xxx

@MsEffervescence Yes, I realize this now. It was my attempt at making it a little more interesting than just an old sale. The FUNNY thing is, one of the reasons why I'm NOT living in Australia whenever I can is because this is one of the most expensive countries in the world to live in, and it's cheaper for me to live overseas in cheaper countries to pay off my debts.

It actually DID go through, Fran. I can feel how hard this is for you and how it affects you. In your previous video where you tell us about the sale to help you get to Peru, I felt like NO, I am not helping someone to get to travel the world, while I am struggling every month to survive. And I still do have that feeling inside....

BUT I feel for you, and I can't imagine how much work you have put in your blog. I've been a follower since christmas 2009. I say follow your heart!

@ShadyMia Yeh I see that. Thank you for your feedback. Please know that I'm not going to Peru for a holiday, I'm always working! And it's not a good idea for me to stay in Australia because it's one of the most expensive places in the world to live.

you should never feel shame to charge people for your worth. It sucks but we live in a society where money is important and needed by everyone. and everyone needs to understand and not judge for that. if this is your passion and calling then you shouold keep doing it. people would never think to question a more "traditional" type person in a job that is more mainstream such a plumber or carpenter when they ask for compensation for their talents. stand high and keep going and doing what you do.

Loving the openness and honesty! I must admit that I don't tend to read the newslettes these days because of the sales focus.. I'm sure there would be a way u could do it that wouldn't detract me though. I will look into it and see if I can give u some tips. Amazing looking at the comments though, already so many ideas!

You should absolutely put Google Adsense on your site.. or another form of advertising. It's not obtrusive, users can choose to click on the ads if they wish, and you will make money from it... It's probably the easiest way to make money from a website.

you've been the means to help sooooo many pips realise the truth about acne. pips like me benefitted EMENSELY from ur vids....its jus sumtyms we dont add comments to acknowledge ur efforts i guess now i know how important it is to do so.

anyway i think it was a good idea to 'buzz' things up with that sale idea...ur young so u think creatively ... nothing wrong wiv that!

Have you looked into advertising on your website, it would help you to earn more revenue. I also think you should look into the youtube partnership programme.

@highonhealth Yes I understand completely. And you ARE running a business, so of course you have to get an income from what you are doing. Everyone understand that.

There will always be an "audience" here for you even though perhaps not all the same, no matter what you decide to move on with. You can't please evernyone :) I hope you will follow your heart and intuition.
