An valid argument for legalisation is the fact that the National Cancer Institute recently pointed out the possible anti-tumor effects of cannabis, look it up in the health professional document about cannabis on their site. I guess cures for cancer aren't that important, especially when lots of money is made with the current system of exploiting the weak.
There is a reason that chemo and radiating are on the frontlines, while non-toxic medicine stands on the sideline.

Gotta love how everyone there, including the president, chuckles and laughed at this, as if it's not a serious issue. I think 750,000 people arrested for cannabis each year think it is a serious issue. How many people died from cannabis use last year? And from alcohol? Tobacco? Why don't you go smoke your Marlboro Reds and have a beer, Mr. President?
