@Phelanar I designed a Shaman Native american character with stone tools and Atlatl, has anyone ever played one?
-
@Ogma01 I agree. I may be to old school but I have not been able to get a feel for laptops & ipods ex.. at the table. I feel it distracts, me and the player with it. I also hold strongly that it's just a bit of a mood kill. I like players to enjoy the game like a movie, but then there are alot of gadgets in the theaters these days to...Ugh damn these newfangled devices.

I would need a lap top, my math and handwriting skills are horrible.

Does anyone play Amber?

@Ogma01 Easily distracted? who? D&D players? NO!! you must mean someone else

@MrToastOmnomnom More than likely thet are using an excel character sheet. Which is what me and my group use.
-
@Ogma01 Laptops are banned in my games.
-
Why are you using laptops? O-o
TOO GOOD FOR PAPER?! D:<
Lol jk. But really what is with the laptops. ._.

@dalkarancalimon ,my friend made one himself.... he drew it by hand with a ruler and such ,and it looked like a robot hoovering popcorn up (One of the rooms had boulders and gold in it)....
I used laptops for background music and quick access to the rules compendium online. I was also live tweeting the game most times.

I'm not too comfortable with people having laptops at the table. I know some folks will have their characters up, but I worry that they're prone to being easily distracted.

@Ogma01 It really kind of depends on the individual. I can multitask well and can have my laptop open and doing stuff without losing the thread of what's going on, but I know others that just can't.

what are the stones used for??

@Dumezil357 The colored stones are to represent monsters. It's a bit easier to deal with for the DM since each monster can be a different color.
