Counter strike 1.6. Problem with find server and create game. It only connect to an server. please help me fix it

Go to Steam\steamapps\username\count
er-strike\cstrike\resource\ and delete the file "GameMenu.res" .I got this from a forum while searching in google hope it helps.

guys,, tried everytihng.. deleted the file>> didnt work,, reisntalled>> didnt work.. now downloading a new torrent ..> hope it works after that..any suggestions!?!?

@all ! Click ^ ! CS Console open ! type : "connect" + server IP + enter ! When you send me a pn i can send you my cs 1.6 non steam version! - the game menu is fixed !!! 100 free Servers !!

@amanvojha if you dont have steam then you just go in to ''progam files'' (there you installed the game) and go to counter-strike\cstrike\resource\ then delete "GameMenu.res". or why not just go to your cs map and search in your upper right corner on "GameMenu.res" then delete it.
