@ajbones22 I suggest you check your "Facts" before you spread more dis-information. Male sydney funnel-webs are far more venomous than females. It's a fact, go & look it up. The venom of the male spider is five times as toxic as the female. They can live up to 24 hours under the water, not two weeks. Before you call people an idiot research the ignorant information you are spouting. I have lived with funnel-webs all my life & have spent years researching them. I know what i am talking about.

i know lol i work at a wildlife park i deal with em every day, the northern tree especially and also the largest of the funnelwebs

The Blue Mountains Funnel-Web and Northern Tree Funnel-Web Spiders are also highly venomous.

@noleyman He didn't go to the hospital because as you can clearly see... When the spider moved only one leg was tugged where the camera was, for the first time through the whole thing, not centered on the spider.
Damn... A spider that can go under water 24 hours? I wish I can do that..

did you went to hospital? and did you knowem that a web spider can stay onder water for week and still alive? yes but is truth :) great video!
