@Shanester1981 They have a haunted house attraction in the caves now. if you haven't heard of it, it's part of the Darkness. just google that. its a great haunted house and is open now actually
I live in St. Louis and I've been to the Lemp a few times. I'm going there in a couple of weeks during a tour. Can't wait; although I would LOVE to spend the night there, just to shit myself out of fear
I didn't know you could still get in the caves, I know a part of them were destroyed when they built I-55 as there used to be an theater and pool underground there. They told me that when I stayed there in 2001 and I stayed in the William J Lemp suite and encountered an orb in the parlor window.
the cave system actually has had paranormal activity inside. they have heard voices and seen aparitions. im sure u could get a tour in the offseason if u knew the right guys
@funkzilla420 The cave system is currently being used as a 'haunted attraction', AKA a production 'haunted house'. It's fun...the whole thing put on by ScareFest who also produces the Darkness, and CreepyWorld and drops MILLIONS into their haunted attractions...but it is most definitely NOT genuinely haunted, or historical. Just lots of people in costumes jumping out and saying 'Boo!' in a scarehouse.
You can always try and get a tour in the off season, though...
My sister just got married in the mansion reception was at brewery its beautiful to say the least all the wood work and intricate details were amazing. i didn't see the cave system though
