We are here at the Stan Lee VIP Party and New York Comics Legend Award Presentation.
The event took place on
Thursday, April 17, 8 PM on the eve of NY COMIC CON at the Virgin Mega Store in Times Square
The New York Comics Legend Award is a new annual award given by New York Comic Con to honor New York City 's greatest contributors to comic books and New York life. True comics legend Stan Lee was the inaugural recipient of the award. 150 tickets were available for the award presentation and celebration of Stan's career. This was the VIP's chance to meet Stan and be surrounded by New York 's finest comic book luminaries. Food, drink & the awards presentation The signings by Stan Lee were canceled.This was a once in a lifetime opportunity to attend an industry VIP event with a living legend.
