UN cannot intervene in a sovereign nation's affairs. It has no right or legitimacy in policing a sovereign nation's internal matters.

Who cares if China is one of the Big Five (5) in the UN? We are talking about respect for freedom of people irregardless of population.The UN will always play fair in all its decisions due to its mission to carryout for the good of all the people in the world. China is not playing fair. China cannot represent Taiwan in the UN because it is not capable of representing a "province" which it never bothered to put forward its welfare for the common good of Taiwanese people. China is being a bully.

China is a flawed nation. How can you rule 1 billion people with assault rifles?
How can China claim that they represent Taiwan? They slaughtered 2700 of their OWN citizens in Tiananmen Square in their OWN capital. The PRC has a lot of blood on its hands and needs to grow up.
