I first heard about her in a rising stars edition of :"Sports Illustrated" a few years back where they profiled Kristie and her sister, Sam, who were the first pair of sisters ever to play for both the U-17 and U-20 WNTs in WWC play. My favorite part was Jill Ellis, Coach of one of those Youth WNT (forget which one) praising Kristie more then she ever does to her own players at UCLA. -_- -.-

Excellent interview, learned a lot. To all the nit-picking jerks here, critiquing Kristie as if they're a stuffy English teacher, try focusing on the content, what she did say, and know that even the word 'like' (I didn't even notice her use of it) serves some purpose, because she, or anyone else who uses it,(almost all) is just trying to approximate, or describe something or idea, and when doing that on the spot isn't always easy. It's not always an immediately exact thing, so cut her a break.
