For a devotee, his true Spiritual Master is like a mother, father, refuge, friend, master, uplifter and like a true friend he takes us by hand and guides us, and brings us closer to God, and unfolds in our heart and mind an ever-increasing awareness and experience of devotional love for God of a soul-touching kind, and ultimately reveals the absolute Divine love of our beloved (God) forever, which is the final, and eternal goal of our soul.
